On Thursday, four-star inside linebacker Jacob Phillips (6-foot-4, 228 pounds, Nashville, TN) narrowed down his recruitment by naming the five teams with which he has planned official visits.

Those teams: Oklahoma, LSU, Alabama, Notre Dame, and Oregon.

Phillips is rated as the No. 3 inside linebacker by Rivals, and No. 8 by 247Sports. He is rated four-stars by both services.
Obviously all five of those teams would love to have Phillips commit, but it is Oregon that probably needs him the most right now. The Ducks are the only team of the five not ranked in 247Sports' Top 10 in recruiting rankings, and Oregon currently ranks No. 30 in the nation. Phillips would immediately become one of Oregon's top commits should he choose the Ducks.
