St. Thomas Aquinas RB Jordan Scareltt is one of the most-explosive running backs in the nation. He was once clocked at running a 4.3 40-yard dash, which is insane. Scarlett, who was committed to Miami, decommitted while on his official visit at Florida State.
However, the four-star running back chose to commit to Florida over Florida State and Miami. Scarlett announced his decision on Fox Sports Florida.
According to AP reporter Tim Reynolds, Scarlett's girlfriend attends Florida, which could be a serious reason why he would commit to UF.
The 5-foot-11, 222-pound running back has great size and has tremendous speed. The only knock on Scarlett is he tries to avoid running between the tackles and bounces it outside, but that can be improved in college.
Scarlett becomes the 15th commit in the class of 2015 for the Florida Gators.
