
Tremont Waters was one of the last top players remaining in the class of 2017 and he has officially made his decision. After initially committing to Georgetown, he de-committed once John Thompson III was fired and was back on the market. Now he'll be heading south:

Waters had recently taken a visit to LSU and it looks like the trip convinced him to stay. He's ranked as the No. 8 point guard in the country and No. 1 recruit in the state of Connecticut according to ESPN. He was also the No. 32 player overall in the country and had offers from UConn, Duke, Kansas, Kentucky and Yale among others.
LSU now has three 4-stars in its class for the cycle of 2017 with two of them being in the ESPN top 100.
