If you are a team that is still looking or a high-impact defensive lineman in recruiting, one may have just become available for you.
Four-star defensive tackle Chris Daniels (6-foot-4, 299 pounds, Euless, TX) announced Wednesday via Twitter that he would be decommitting from Oklahoma.

Daniels' message on the issue is interesting, as he puts a lot of emphasis on how this has to be his decision. Daniels apparently had an in-home visit from Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops just a few days ago, and this leaves one to wonder if he was pressured by someone to commit to the Sooners when he was not ready to make a true commitment. Players don't usually celebrate an in-coach visit one day, and then decommit the next.
Either way, Daniels is now available as a recruit and all of the major teams in his home-state of Texas are probably extremely interested. 247Sports agrees with that sentiment, as their Crystal Ball projects Texas, Texas A&M, and TCU as potential landing spots.
