Four-star athlete Russ Yeast (5-foot-11, 178 pounds, Greenwood, IN) was one of Kentucky's top commits before his decommitment back in June. His decommit was a real blow to their recruiting class back in June, but the biggest blow might have come on Monday, as Yeast announced a new commitment to rival Louisville.

Yeast announced his commitment after an official visit to Louisville this weekend. Apparently he was impressed with their 54-13 win over in-conference foe N.C. State.

This commitment is the second in what has been a big recruiting weekend for Louisville. Last week, the Cardinals gained the commitment of four-star running back Colin Wilson; Wilson and Yeast are now Louisville's top-rated commitments, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.
Yeast also had offers from Auburn, Alabama, and Ole Miss. While listed as an athlete, he is expected to play cornerback at the next level.
