One of the biggest recruits — literally — of the 2017 class has made a commitment.
On Friday, four-star offensive tackle Aaron Banks (6-foot-7, 315 pounds, El Cerrito, Ca.) announced his commitment to Notre Dame over Michigan, Oregon, and UCLA, among others.

Banks is the latest edition to what is becoming a great recruiting class for Notre Dame and Brian Kelly. Notre Dame currently ranks No. 6 in 247Sports' recruiting rankings, which would be the Fighting Irish's first Top 10 class since 2013. That class included notable NFL Draft picks Jaylon Smith and Will Fuller.
Banks is the 24th commitment for Notre Dame this recruiting cycle.
