
5 Star Wrestling is about to get a lift, announcing that former WWE/ECW star Rob Van Dam will compete in its 128-man tournament starting June 10.
Van Dam will join the likes of former WWE stars Carlito and John Morrison in the competition.

This comes on the heels of 5 Star Wrestling offering CM Punk $1 million to participate in the tournament. As of this writing, he hasn't accepted an offer.
The show will take place from the Echo Arena in Liverpool, England and will continue over 30 weeks following its debut.
