Former LSU kicker Trent Domingue has found his new home. The graduate transfer announced earlier this month he would be leaving LSU after his scholarship was not renewed for a fifth year. On Sunday afternoon, Domingue announced that he would be transferring to Texas to play his final year of college football.

Domingue started as a walk-on in 2012 and first saw action in 2014 as a kickoff specialist. He had 28 touchbacks on 51 kickoffs and made 13 of his 17 field goal attempts in 2015. The Longhorns meanwhile have been searching for a consistent kicker, since Nick Rose, who made 13-of-17 field goals during his senior season last year.
