Former four-star wide receiver James Clark announced that he was transferring from Ohio State earlier in the year, and it looks like he has found a destination.
According to 247Sports, Clark will be transferring to Virginia Tech.
"I wanted to take advantage of my last year and Virginia Tech was the best situation for me," Clark said to 247. "The staff was great and the success they've had drew my attention."
Clark, originally a class of 2013 recruit, has completed his graduation requirements at Ohio State and will be eligible immediately in the 2017 season.
Clark played mostly in special teams situations in 2016, but he did also have six receptions for 47 yards. He did not record any stats in any other season with the Buckeyes. Despite that, Clark will be a boost for the Hokies, who only return five starters on offense from last year's team.
