Five-star quarterback Tua Tagovailoa has officially ended his recruitment and will enroll early at Alabama in January, per SEC Country.

"When you go to Alabama, everything is just different," Tagovailoa said. "Everything is about the process of getting to your goals. You want to play with the best and surround yourself with the best. And for me, I feel like those guys are the best."

It's a stunner for Pac-12 teams USC, UCLA and most notably Oregon, which was reportedly the biggest threat to Alabama, per 247sports.

Tagovailoa had offers from Louisville, Texas A&M, Washington and Wisconsin among others.

Some presumed Tagovailoa might follow Marcus Mariota's route from Hawaii to Oregon, but it was not to be as the 6'1", 212-pound gunslinger will fall in line behind Jalen Hurts as Alabama continues to build on its already impressive dynasty.
