
Elijah Gates is one of the top cornerbacks in the country and is rated as the No. 12 recruit at the position by Scout. He's been heavily recruited by Oregon and UCLA and 247Sports actually had him crystal balled at 67 percent going to the Ducks with UCLA at 33 percent. However, he's officially committed to the Bruins:

The 5'11", 170-pound California native looks like he'll be staying in his home state and that gives the Bruins some serious firepower in the secondary. They already have five-star Darnay Holmes in the class as well as four-star Jaylan Shaw and two more 3-star recruits.
