Orlando, Fla., — LSU running back Derrius Guice hasn't made a decision on his NFL Draft status, but plans to discuss it with head coach Ed Orgeron in the coming weeks.

"We just have to have a good conversation about it and see how it goes," Guice said after the Tigers' 21-17 loss to Notre Dame in the Citrus Bowl on Monday.

"I'm going to have to put my recruiting hat on," Orgeron added.

Guice caught two touchdown passes and finished with 122 all-purpose yards (98 rushing, 24 receiving) and was named the game's most valuable player, despite the loss.

The Baton Rogue native claimed he hasn't given much thought to his draft status, despite being projected by many as a first-round pick.

"I don't really think about it," Guice said. "The whole focus has been on this game the past month to be honest."

The junior entered LSU's bowl game ranked fourth among SEC backs in rushing and finished the 2017 season with 1,251 yards.

Guice also led the Tigers with 1,387 rushing yards last season in the absence of starter Leonard Fournette, who was limited to just seven appearances while battling injuries.
