Dan Mullen has reportedly made another hire to his staff after Drew Hughes left to join his former boss Jeremy Pruitt at Tennessee. The two worked together while at Alabama so the transition makes sense for him. However, that left Mullen without one assistant director of player personnel until he hired Cordell Landers out of El Camino (California) College.

That's according to Football Scoop. He also posted this message on his Twitter a few days ago:

I’m out of here. My last night in Cali. TBA, bags packed and I’m ready to make the best of this major opportunity the lord has bless me with.

Landers' Twitter bio also lists him as "The Gorilla in the Swamp." Landers played college football at LA Valley College and Illinois State University as a running back. According to Landers' bio on the San Bernardino Valley College website, Landers has sent over 272 players to division one.
