Conor McGregor claims he could beat up Jesus, pastor wants God to kill him ·

Conor McGregor might be the best talker in the business right now, but occasionally he gets a bit ahead of himself.

Back in December, McGregor was asked if there is anyone that couldn't knock him out in the Octagon and his answer was simple — even if it was against Jesus Christ, absolutely not.

According to Fox Sports, one Texas pastor is hoping McGregor dies for his statement against Jesus, as he's asking God to strike down upon the featherweight champ:

"I'm going to pray that God strikes this guy dead," Romero said to his congregation. "Do you know why? Guy's name is Conor McGregor. He's the UFC featherweight champ or something like that, he's on this run of just knocking people out. But he got up and he said 'if Jesus Christ was in the ring with me, I'd knock him out'."

The UFC trash talker made it known back in January that despite what he initially said, he's cool with Jesus:

McGregor will battle Rafael dos Anjos March 5 in Vegas for the lightweight crown.
