Clemson escaped with a 38-31 win over North Carolina State on Saturday and it looks like they escaped with no punishment as well after N.C. State coach Dave Doeren called them out for having a laptop on the sideline. And while the Tigers did have one on the sideline (as you'll see in the picture below), they were not using it for coaching purposes, which is what the rule is really about.
On Sunday, an ACC spokesman told the Associated Press that the league was "satisfied" with Clemson's explanation. According to the Raleigh News & Observer, a Clemson spokesperson said that a laptop has been used on the sidelines for over two season at road games for social media purposes and to get photos as well as videos uploaded to social media accounts and not for coaching purposes.

There are clearly no coaches around and if the ACC really doesn't find anything wrong with it, then the situation should probably be left alone. Clemson did have the laptop removed for the second half of the game though, per NCSU's request and ended up coming back from a 21-17 halftime deficit to win.
