All Washington had to do was get to halftime...
The Huskies had held strong with Alabama through the first half, and it looked like we were heading to a 10-7 score at the break as Washington had the ball with a minute to go in the second quarter. However, Alabama then scored their 11th defensive touchdown of the season off of this interception.
The throw by Washington quarterback Jake Browning was a terrible decision, and Alabama's Ryan Anderson was able to take it back to give the Crimson Tide a 17-7 lead.
