The only time we hear the long snapper's name in a game is when they mess up. But here's an instance where we should know a long snapper's name. His name is Ryan King and he plays in the Canadian Football League for the Edmonton Eskimos.
By the looks of this trick shot video, King should be playing in the NFL instead of the CFL. King had his little cousin put a can on his head and, without fail, King knocked it off without a problem.
You have to be really confident in your skills in order to have a little kid risk getting hurt with a football to the back of his head, and it looks like the professional long snapper is indeed good at his job.
