We have only been in the college football offseason for roughly over a week, but that doesn't stop Las Vegas from predicting how next season will go. The Heisman Trophy, which has been give to a running back just twice since the 2006 season, looks like it'll continue the trend of giving it to quarterbacks in 2016, at least according to Bovada. Odds on who will the award next season are out, and it looks like Clemson quarterback Deshaun Watson is the new early favorite, with 9/2 odds currently.

Sitting right behind Watson is a pair of running backs — LSU's Leonard Fournette and Stanford's Christian McCaffrey at 5/1. Ohio State quarterback J.T. Barrett and Oklahoma's Baker Mayfield come next at 10/1, followed by Georgia's Nick Chubb and Florida State's Dalvin Cook both with 12/1 odds. Oregon tailback Royce Freeman, Ole Miss signal caller Chad Kelly, OU running back Samaje Perine and Alabama wide receiver Calvin Ridley all are sitting at 12/1 as well. Rounding out the group includes Tennessee junior quarterback Joshua Dobbs at 16/1.
