Tom Brady and the New England Patriots have been the benchmark of success in the NFL during his team's 15-year reign near the top of the league.
While we'll never know what Brady is like without head coach Bill Belichick, we know what Belichick without Brady is like. And it's not good:
Brady's record: 172-51 regular season 22-9 postseason. Belichick without Brady: 46-51 regular season 1-1 postseason. https://t.co/apKjEms7h6

Even if we don't include Belichick's miserable run in Cleveland (36-44), his 10-7 record without the Patriots gunslinger is mediocre at best. Bordering on .500 year over year gets coaches fired.
Obviously Belichick isn't getting canned anytime in New England, but the hoodie has his work cut out with Brady missing the first four games of the season due to suspension. His legacy will forever be remembered for building and sustaining a dynasty, fair or not.
