The Denver Broncos may be looking to add former New York Giants head coach Ben McAdoo to its coaching staff for next season, according to beat reporter Mike Klis of KUSA.

The Broncos are retooling the coaching staff under head coach Vance Joseph and the thought is the team would like to add a candidate with previous head coaching experience as its next quarterback coach, according to Pro Football Talk. McAdoo is reportedly seeking an offensive coordinator position and it's unclear at this time if he would accept the job. The team is also considering former Cincinnati Bengals offensive coordinator Ken Zampese for the opening as well.

McAdoo and Joseph previously worked together with the San Francisco 49ers during the 2005 season when McAdoo was the offensive line coach and Joseph was the assistant secondary coach. McAdoo left the 49ers after that season to join the Green Bay Packers as their tight end coach and later took over as the quarterback coach for Aaron Rodgers.

The Broncos hold the fifth pick in the NFL Draft and may be looking to select a quarterback after a season of inconsistent play by quarterbacks Brock Osweiler, Trevor Siemian and Paxton Lynch.
