Auburn center Reese Dismukes was awarded the Rimington Trophy honoring the nation's top center last night at the College Football Awards. Dismukes, a senior, was a finalist for the award last year and has started for Auburn since his freshman year.
He was widely regarded as the nation's best center heading into this season, and only reaffirmed that notion with his play this season. Dismukes has been a team captain for his last 26 games and became the first Tiger to win the Rimington Trophy.

"I am extremely excited to accept this prestigious honor of the Rimington Trophy," said Dismukes, via Auburn release. "I am very thankful because I would not be in this situation if not for a lot of people. I appreciate those who have helped me along the way, especially my family, coaches and most of all, my teammates."You Might Also Like
