Five-star small forward Brian Bowen is a top-15 player in the class of 2017 according to ESPN and is considering a few schools late in the recruiting process. The No. 3 small forward in the class —- behind Michael Porter Jr. and Kevin Knox —- apparently has another school emerging as a real place for him to commit to soon:
Texas has emerged as a legitimate landing spot for five-star prospect Brian Bowen, per a source. Oregon, UCLA, Creighton, and DePaul in mix.

The 6'7", 195-pound forward could join Mo Bamba in Austin and make for a lethal combo under coach Shaka Smart's tutelage and mentoring. Should the Michigan native head out further west than that, he could find himself at a possible Final Four contender with UCLA or Oregon as they have a good mix of youth and returning experience for next season.
