
Alabama has hit a tiny bit of a rough path. The Crimson Tide lost a last-second heart breaker to Clemson in the National Championship game, it's fans were in the spotlight after almost no one greeted the team when it returned from the game, and the the team has lost some valuable assistant and could have lost another.
Take a deep breath, Tide fans.

It looks like Mike Locksley, the team's offensive analyst, is staying put.

Locksley had been pursued by Florida, with one report claiming he was going to take an on-field role as an offensive assistant on Jim McElwain's staff. Now, based on McMurphy's report, it looks like Locksley will take an on-field role at Alabama.
While Locksley worked behind the scenes last season, he does have significant on-field experience. He was offensive coordinator at Maryland and coached running backs and served as recruiting coordinator at Florida.
Alabama has last Mario Cristobal, an assistant coach and the team's lead recruiter to Oregon, where he'll become co-offensive coordinator; Lane Kiffin, the former offensive coordinator, to Florida Atlantic University as head coach;
