Five-star cornerback and Florida State commit Akeem Dent is already a top-10 recruit in the class of 2019. However, there's still time to improve on it and move up to a top-5 ranking. And with this kind of play from his first game of the high school season, there's no reason to think he won't keep moving up.
Not only did he read the play and know where the ball was going, but he lit up the receiver for a huge loss. He's currently ranked as the No. 9 overall recruit and No. 1 CB in the class according to Scout. He committed last month to the Seminoles and the Palm Beach Central High product is making the Noles love that decision. He also had offers from Miami, Auburn, Florida, Georgia and LSU among others.
