Davis had been with SI since 1995 and told The Big Lead, "I have not an ounce of regret or bitterness. This is the way the industry is headed. SI is a great place with great people." Davis said that he plans to continue writing and he should have plenty of avenues for that as he is still a part of Campus Insiders and it doesn't sound like CBS has let him go as a TV analyst either.
