
Some might call it the lowest point of WWE's reboot of the ECW brand. Others might call it the greatest troll move Vince McMahon has ever made.
But nine years ago today, McMahon (along with son Shane and teammate Umaga) beat down part-time MMA fighter Bobby Lashley to win the ECW championship. At age 61, McMahon became the oldest title-holder of the ECW crown.
Less than three years later, the ECW brand folded with Ezekiel Jackson being the last title-holder.
It was certainly much different from the original ECW:
