5-star RB Najee Harris releases recruitment information that should terrify Alabama

The Najee Harris sweepstakes are headed for a dramatic conclusion. The nation's top running back recruit, out of Antioch, Ca., has been verbally committed to Alabama for almost two full years, but Jim Harbaugh and Michigan have been attempting hard to lure Harris to Ann Arbor.

And it may be working. Harris, who rushed for 2,776 yards and 30 touchdowns last season, is now saying that he won't be making a final decision on where he'll play his college ball until after the U.S. Army All-American Bowl January 7. Because he's an early enrollee, he says he plans to just show up at the school he chooses immediately after the game and enroll for the Spring semester.

5-star RB Najee Harris: he will not make a decision public. He's ducking out after Army Bowl, and will just show up at a school.

Buckle up.

If Harbaugh manages to land the 6-3, 226 pounder, it could be the biggest recruiting victory of his coaching career at Michigan, particularly since he'd be stealing him away from Nick Saban.

Brandon Justice of Land of 10's says the Wolverines have a solid chance at pulling off what would be massive recruiting upset. He writes:

"Michigan has a real shot. Like a really, real shot. Those rumors about him not caring about Lane Kiffin leaving (Alabama) are just false...Michigan set itself up for a real shot to pull off this huge upset over Alabama to land his commitment."
