WWE reportedly set to add legend to 2017 Hall of Fame class

According to PWInsider, the WWE Hall of Fame is about to get Ravishing. The late Rick Rude is expected to be inducted into the Hall of Fame. One of the best bad guys ever, Rude held the Intercontinental Championship, United States and WCW International World Heavyweight title during various runs with WWE and WCW.

One of the best bad guys ever, Rude held the Intercontinental Championship, United States and WCW International World Heavyweight title during various runs with WWE and WCW.

He also rivaled with some of the greats, including an epic run against The Ultimate Warrior and Sting.

Rude retired from in-ring competition in 1994 following a back injury, but would help form Degeneration-X in WWE before bouncing back to WCW as a manager.

Rude died in 1999 at the young age of 40 from heart failure. He reportedly died of an overdose of "mixed medications."
