Holding a 7-3 lead in the first half, the New England Patriots were setting up to return a punt when wideout Danny Amendola turned around and completely laid out Jamell Flemming with what appeared to be a helmet-to-helmet hit.
Why Amendola decided to crush Flemming is unknown, but a brief scuffle ensued and the wideout was hit with an unnecessary roughness penalty, good for about two yards.
