Charles Woodson is one of the best players in Michigan Wolverines history, and the 1997 Heisman Trophy winner is still playing professional football at the age of 38. In the advertisement above, however, Woodson channels his maize and blue roots by upstaging a pair of former Heisman winners from arch rival Ohio State.
After Eddie George (1995 winner) and Troy Smith (2006 winner) hang a painting as part of Nissan's "Heisman House" promotion, Woodson comes with a massive piece of art featuring a wolverine to overtake his OSU counterparts. It would be an interesting bar room argument to compare the three players in terms of college success, though most would likely agree that Smith lands third among the trio, but Woodson's professional career has been the best in that he's likely ticketed for the Hall of Fame.
Michigan and Ohio State can (occasionally) play nice in public, and this is an example of that, even if the Wolverines grab the upper hand in the end.
