Ronda Rousey dropped her UFC bantamweight title in shocking fashion to Holly Holm.

In one of her first sit-down interviews since that loss, in which Rousey is listed as one of the TIME 100 most influential people in the world, the former champ spoke about wanting to be remembered as one of the best and admits she's still grieving after her loss.

Per Uproxx:

"I hope people remember me as one of the greatest fighters that ever lived ... but I don't know if they will," Ronda tells TIME, getting emotional. "I'm still grieving the person that could have won it all, but I have to live up to the fact that I'm not her. That's just who I wanted to be, and instead I'm what I need to be for myself and everyone else."

Rousey also spoke about the "cute letters"she gets from little girls and fans alike, and how that's helping her get back to the Octagon. She also noted the terrible negative things people continue to say.

As Rousey prepares for a return to the UFC, where she hopes to avenge her loss and reclaim her title, the champ noted she's coming back to the win title for "the people that believed in (her)."

She's rumored to finally step back into the Octagon when the UFC lands its historic first card inside Madison Square Garden in November.
