That Time Margot Robbie Parodied American Psycho For Vogue

I’m not sure why I never knew about this video but it makes me like Margot Robbie even more than I already do, which is a lot.  It also makes you appreciate the magazine Vogue a little bit more.  While it’s not on my reading list, the fact that they would recruit Robbie to do a little American Psycho routine for an ad is pretty awesome.  In case you never knew about this ad either here’s the description:

What does it take to become one of Hollywood’s most sought-after leading ladies? Australian-born Margot Robbie has an idea: for starters, a studied beauty routine so precise it borders on psychopathic. See the 25-year-old discuss the importance of being born with a six-pack and the beautifying powers of placenta cream in this American Psycho—spoofing original short directed by Ariel Schulman and Henry Joost.

As usual, Robbie nails this ad.  The only thing I wish could have been different is them letting her use her natural Australian accent.  Although I suppose it wouldn’t have sounded as “classy.”  Actually I’m sure she could have done an English accent which would have made this ad even more foo foo.   I wonder if Christian Bale ever saw this.
