Tim Tebow-like QB reportedly meets with Dallas Cowboys

The Dallas Cowboys are almost certainly in the market for a quarterback when this year's NFL Draft rolls around. And despite the Cowboys holding the No. 4 overall selection, there's no guarantee they select a gunslinger early on and could wait until later rounds for not as notable a quarterback.

According to SportsDay, Cowboys offensive coordinator Scott Linehan and quarterback coach Wade Wilson have had two informal meetings with former former Mississippi State quarterback Dak Prescott.

"Coach Wilson just [talked] about what they expect me to do if I come in there, if it's to be in the backup role behind Tony Romo, how do I plan on approaching it and then just talking ball, so they've been very productive meetings," Prescott said.

According to NFLDraftScout.com, Prescott projects to be similar to former Florida quarterback Tim Tebow. Per the report, he has a better arm and mechanics, but is similar in his all-around game and off-the-field stature.
