This top QB is trying to sell NFL teams on his 'swag'

If swag really is important to NFL executives, Ole Miss quarterback Chad Kelly might be the top pick in the draft next spring. Because he has all of it - at least that's what he told Emily Kaplan for Sports Illustrated's Monday Morning Quarterback blog.

"I have it all," Kelly said. "I might not have the same mojo as your basic quarterback, but I feel like I bring a different type of swag to the team and the players around me. I have friends all across that field. When I go out there on the field, I play with a different attitude that you usually don't see in a quarterback. I play with a swag they've never seen before."

Well, that settles it. Congrats, Cleveland. Chad Kelly will be the face of your franchise.

Kelly has been productive on the field for the Rebels the last two seasons, but his off-the-field issues in the past are certainly red flags to NFL executives. After Deshaun Watson, there aren't many sure bets in this upcoming quarterback class, so maybe a team will take a chance on Kelly in the draft.
