Sometimes it is hard to say that a school is the leader for a recruit when they haven't offered yet, but judging by some of these quotes, that appears to be the case for four-star tight end Matthew Dotson (6-foot-5, 235 pounds, Cincinnati, OH) and Florida State.

"I was blown away by it," Dotson told Rivals.com in an interview after an unofficial visit with the Seminoles. Everything about that place is extraordinary. Everything from the dorms to the practice field, all the athletic facilities, the weight room - I definitely wasn't ready for it and now after seeing it I think it's the most beautiful place."

Florida State has been a school that has never been afraid to use the tight end in the offense, so it shouldn't be too surprising if the Seminoles do eventually extend the offer to the four-star recruit. Considering Dotson's 6-foot-5, 235 pound frame, he could potentially play immediately at the next level.

Of course, Florida State isn't the only school chasing Dotson. He currently has offers from Michigan, LSU, Notre Dame, and Ohio State, among others. 247sports currently lists the Buckeyes as the favorite for Dotson, but if this visit to Florida State was as good as Dotson said it was, we might have a new leader in the clubhouse sooner rather than later.
