There are catches that take away home runs, or game-winning home runs. How about a catch that takes away a game-winning, walk-off grand slam?
That's what George Springer of the Houston Astros did Sunday. He robbed Leonys Martin in the bottom of the 10th with a beautiful running and leaping catch on a ball that looks like it would have cleared the wall. Look at how far Springer had to go and how high he had to jump to snag this ball. Amazing.
The Astros ended up beating the Texas Rangers 6-4 in 14 innings.
