Two NFL players have filed a lawsuit of their own in an alleged assault

Tajae Sharpe and Sebastian Tretola have filed a counter lawsuit against a man who claims Sharpe beat him while Tretola stood watch.

Sharp and Tretola, players for the Tennessee Titans, have been sued by Dante Satterfield, who says he was assaulted behind a Nashville bar on April 27. Satterfield filed the civil suit that asks for a jury trial and $500,000 in damages, claiming injuries that included a concussion and broken bones in the face.

The new developments were reported  by WKRN.com.

In the counter claim, Sharp, according to WKRN, admitted to punching Satterfield, and Tretola admitted to "body checking" Satterfield against a wall. But both player say they acted in self defense and allege Satterfield threatened them and claimed to be part of a gang.

While police are investigating, not charges have been filed.

sharpe was selected in the fifth round of the 2016 draft. The wide receiver, 22, had 41 catches for 522 yards during his rookie campaign. Tretola, a guard, was a sixth round pick in the 2016 draft and played in one game last season.
