Stephen F. Austin became everyone's instant March Madness favorite with an incredible win over West Virginia on Friday. The Lumberjacks had another chance for an upset over 6-seed Notre Dame on Sunday in the round of 32. Everyone took notice of star forward Thomas Walkup after his stellar performance in that game and he was pretty good again against the Fighting Irish despite losing XX-XX on this crazy tip-in from Notre Dame.
Walkup finished with 21 points, five rebounds, five assists and was just too much fun to watch. The Fighting Irish will face the winner of the Xavier-Wisconsin game playing later today. SFA came down from seven points in the second half to come close, but didn't do quite enough on the last possession of the game to close it out.
