Star Trek Beyond is a movie many sci-fi and action fans are looking forward to this summer as the main cast and crew return to reprise their roles aboard the U.S.S. Enterprise. Captain Kirk, Uhura, Scotty, Chekov, Zulu, Bones and Spock are back in the saddle and exploring space once again, but seem to be taken prisoner aboard an alien world after an attack on the beloved ship.

The newest trailer sees the team add an unlikely ally trying to save the crew and other Starfleet members from imprisonment. Scotty and Kirk must free their fellow shipmates and the rest of the academy from a villainous slaver played by Idris Elba. The movie is directed by Justin Lin who also directed Fast Five and Fast and Furious 6.
