Showtime will be chronicling Florida State's 2016 season with their second-year documentary series titled "A Season With." Last year, Showtime showcased Notre Dame's 2015 season. The news of the series was announced earlier this month.
"Jimbo Fisher and his staff reviewed the Notre Dame series and were satisfied with the level of editorial control the team could exercise over the final product." Tomahawk Nation reports. "With concerns over what happens to all the film that will be shot (30+ hours weekly) assuaged, FSU gave the green light."
Given Florida State's high expectations, and having a potential Heisman Trophy winner in junior running back Dalvin Cook, the choice is pretty obvious. The series will premiere on Tuesday, Sept. 6, one day after Florida State opens its season against the Ole Miss Rebels at the Camping World Kickoff from Orlando, Fla. at 8:00 p.m.
