Fox4 News in Dallas reported that Boykin was a passenger in a car that crashed into a Dallas Bar about 2 a.m. today. Boykin was arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana and public intoxication — both misdemeanors — according to the Fox4, which quoted Dallas County Jail records.
And, TMZ reported that the car he was in hit four people on a sidewalk before crashing through the wall of a bar, injuring the bartender.
Boykin passed for nearly 11,000 yards during his college career at TCU and in 2014 was the Big 12 offensive player of the year. As a rookie last season, and the backup to Russell Wilson, Boykin appeared in six games, completed 13 of 18 passes for 145 yards with a touchdown and interception.
