It was a move that many believed to be unfair.
Fresh off of a crushing loss to the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XLIX, the Seattle Seahawks turned right around and traded center Max Unger in a deal to acquire Jimmy Graham.
Graham, the high-flying, football dunking superstar for the New Orleans Saints, was going to finally give the Seahawks an over-the-middle, vertical threat on offense.
However, the offensive production just hasn't been what we anticipated from the four-time Pro Bowler. Injuries have certainly played a role, but Graham has not posted the same kind of numbers in Seattle that he did in New Orleans.
In 2014, his last season with the Saints, Graham caught 85 balls for 889 yards and 10 touchdowns. It took Graham 33 games with the Seahawks to reach 10 receiving touchdowns.
And, to make things worse, since Seattle let go of Unger, the offensive line has been a bit of an issue.
So, with the NFL trade deadline looming, rumors have been swirling about Graham's future in Seattle. Plenty of teams would love to add a weapon like him to their offense, but it doesn't seem like Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll is ready to let him go.
Seahawks coach Pete Carroll, to me just now: 'We are NOT trading Jimmy Graham. That's total bulls---' @AroundTheNFL @nflnetwork

If you were hoping your favorite team would add Graham and be able to better utilize his talents, keep dreaming. Carroll won't let him go without a fight.
