No. 1 Kansas (27-4, 15-3) hosted No. 21 Iowa State (21-10, 10-8) on Senior Day and got the better of the Cyclones 85-78. Perry Ellis led Kansas in scoring with 22 points and seven rebounds and was helped out by 16 points apiece from Wayne Selden and Devonte' Graham.
Both teams shot about 47 percent from the field, but Kansas made more three-point shots than ISU so that certainly helped the Jayhawk cause. Senior Jamari Traylor also chipped in eight points, three steals and two boards to go with Landen Lucas' six points, seven rebounds, a steal and a block.
