Pinkerton pleaded guilty to the robbery charge according to the Associated Press (via ESPN). Mahomes was in his hometown of Tyler, Texas when he was robbed and here is how the situation was described by authorities.

Mahomes and his friends had just stepped from a vehicle in the driveway of a home near Tyler when another vehicle pulled up behind them. Pinkerton approached, gestured like he had a handgun in his waistband and took unspecified items from the group before speeding away. Pinkerton was arrested shortly afterward.

Fortunately, no one was hurt or worse and now the criminal is behind bars.
