NHL players aren't the only ones that have to worry about stray pucks as flying projectiles.

It happened Wednesday night during a matchup between the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Minnesota Wild when a pass from Leafs defenseman Roman Polak (with some serious heat on it) caught linesman Steve Miller on the knee.

And judging by his reaction, it looked to be on par with getting one of your knee caps bashed in by a Louisville Slugger. No word yet on his condition, but after that some of those crazy thick goalie pads might be in order.
