Ian Seau is the nephew of the late Junior Seau, who played in the NFL from 1990-2009. Junior Seau made 12 Pro Bowls and was First-team All-Pro eight times. He was inducted to the Hall of Fame posthumously in 2015.
Ian Seau played for Nevada in college and was signed by the Los Angeles Rams as an undrafted free agent last season.
Seau rejoins former Rams defensive line coach Mike Waufle in Buffalo.
