Four-star defensive end Hunter Echols (6-foot-4, 231 pounds, Los Angeles, CA) was committed to UCLA up until two weeks ago. Apparently he had a change of heart and decided to decommit.
Suffice to say, Bruins fans aren't going to be happy about where he's going now. On Friday night, Echols announced a new commitment: to USC.

Echols is USC's 13th commitment of the 2017 class. They also got the commitment of four-star offensive tackle Alijah Vera-Tucker on Friday. As of now, USC ranks as the No. 14 class in 2017 by 247Sports, which makes them the No. 1 class in the Pac-12.
