It was announced earlier this summer that ESPN do-it-all announcer Beth Mowins would be calling a Monday Night Football game. And now it has become official as she got to call the Los Angeles Chargers-Denver Broncos game alongside new partner Rex Ryan.

Like the tweet says, she becomes the first woman to call an NFL game since 1987 when Gayle Sierens did it for the last game of the regular season for NBC. She and Ryan played well off each other as they did have some experience calling a game together as they worked the Florida State spring game.
