College football diehards probably know about Taco Charlton. The 6-foot-6, 272-pound senior is Michigan's best returning pass rusher on a defensive line with considerable upside, and Charlton has undoubtedly emerged as a leader for the Wolverines in 2016.
However, it is tough to overlook Charlton's most important trait, his name, and Tony Paul of The Detroit News uncovered that he has made a food conversion. Initially, Taco Charlton fought back against loving tacos in a way that his name would suggest, but the switch has been made.
"Now, I love tacos all the time. Whether it's Taco Bell or I go make my own tacos or whatever."
According to the piece, Vidauntae (Taco) Charlton did not begin to enjoy consuming tacos in mass quantities until college, but now, he has legitimate takes on the subject.
"You know, I like the crunch gordita (from Taco Bell), so you got the soft with the hard inside. You get a little taste of both worlds. I do a little bit of both, but when you put both together, you make it even better."
Taco Charlton isn't the most famous member of Michigan's defensive line (an honor bestowed on Chris Wormley, Ryan Glasgow or even Rashan Gary) but he just might be the best of the bunch this season. At any rate, he will be powered by tacos and that makes all the sense in the world.
