Member of Clemson athletic department reportedly found dead

It was reported early Tuesday morning that Clemson associate athletic director Bert Henderson had gone missing. He had not reported to work on Monday and that led to growing concern over where he might be. A search was enacted by several agencies and unfortunately that search has ended in tragedy.

Anderson Country Sheriff Chad McBride said that Henderson's body was found and that the family has been notified. An investigation is will be oncoming. Henderson was the associate athletic director of planned giving at Clemson University and had worked at the university since 1978.
